This is a interesting card, and we feel a money making card.  In the 1st race we are using all, with Penwith in the 2nd and in the 3rd we are using the 4-6 for the pick 3. 
Let's move to the 4th race where we really like the 2 horse Mr D Oro.  Just single him out, now we even like a horse in the 5th race, Katura with Joel Rosario up.  Roger Atfield has this horse going in the right direction!

I love and hate New York racing, the card is ok it's worth betting.  I will start you off with a few horses I like.  Starting in the 1st race, head heart hoof is as solid and consistent as you can get.  It's a competitive race, with David Jacobsen hot as a pistol right now-he's got Haverhill in a canadian bred that is also pretty solid.  John Terranova has Bet the Power in there as well.  Going to box these for the triple and hopefully we will start the year out well.

In the 7th race we like Giant Finish a lot!  We are using him in everything, bet 3-all-all for late pick 3.  You will get paid off the last 2 races are very hard to figure out.  Chris Englehart has Pegasus Blue in the 6th race, a sleeper with Cornelio on board.  We are using this horse 2nd and 3rd anotherwords betting 200.00 to place and show.  Don't go berzerk here, it's the new year, see how the track is playing.

We are playing a 100.00 double, 2-2.  Miss Top Nite and She's Tops.  Probably won't pay a lot but the rest are junk.
5th race Graceful Minou is our best bet of the day at Portland.  Good late kick, should run away and hide.
The rest of the card really is not that good, save your money and look elsewhere.

Let's start with Honey Butler in the 2nd, looks to be the horse to beat.  Baie Chatte for 2nd and all for 3rd to round out the triples. 
In the 5th Council Bluff looks like a lock!  If you want to screw around in the exotics, we recommend a bomb for 2nd.  Gypsy's Dream the 1 horse will get a piece, hopefully 2nd.  Litefoot Sue for 3rd. and all to round out the supers. 
Queen Nola in the 10th is our best bet of the day.

We have a few interesting plays for the day, you might be interested in.  It's a new year, let's start it off right.  Pom Pom Power looks to be a lock, not interested in a exacta play here.  Just single him out in the 1st race.

In the 2nd race Miss Bikini Bottom will be very tough for a 8000 claimer tag.  Pretty chalky double.
Now let's move to the 6th race, Luigi Q will be our best bet of the day.  Looks solid and to be in good form. 
If you were to play a triple or super here it is,
7 with 4 with all with 123 for the superfecta. 

In the 8th race Swidgen looks to be pretty tough, not much else to talk about.

The 1st race looks tough, we are going to use 2 horses on top, the 2 horse Graeme's Song and #6 Mindfulness, interchange these two so the triple would look like

6-2-all
it's not a big field but there is value there. 

Let's play a pick 4 2nd thru the 5th

Here we go, in the 2nd race let's use the #3 horse Bellagio, we will single him here, in the 3rd we are using BL's Wagon and in the 4th race were using talent seeker and discreet reason.  In the final leg Mount Coronet and Decisive Edge.  It's a inexpensive bet but the hardest leg looks to be the last.  Like I said there is value here. 
Let's go to the 7th race, we are doing a 10 cents super, it looks wide open here, don't let the odds fool you.  Meadowbound gets a nice weight allowance and we like that one on top.  #1 with all all all. 

In the 9th race box the 4 outside horses, even the 20-1 morning line # 6 finish first get paid looks good!  It's all outside, so box those for the triple and supers.

This ought to be a funcard to watch and gamble on.  The last day of the year is always a moneymaker for the player, just watch and don't go nuts, we like a few today at long odds.

In the first Yankee Kitten looks tough to beat, but the 2nd race is wide open and we really like the rail horse service duty honor.  That's a 20.00 double with another 20.00 pick 3 use the #1 horse as well as the horse Big Royal Deal. Now in the 3rd single the horse Cashmere Muffin and in the 4th lola getz.

Parx Picks 12/30/2013

This is a pretty good card today, not sure if it will all hold up because of the rain we had yesterday.  These are our Parx selections for December 30th 2013.  Like I said this is before the scratches,
1st race, pretty wide open we are leaning towards #2 Foreign review, looks like the one to beat with #5 a close 2nd MJ Plus.

2nd Race is also not one of our favorite plays of the day.  #6 Borovo looks to be the horse to beat,  but the entry is not a throw away.  Scott Lake's horse Cheops looks like the speed but will fade quick in the slop.

In the 3rd we really like Artful Persuasion, our best bet of the day, can handle the off going. 

Running Bull in the 4th seems the logical horse, exacta with all and Running Bull second. 

The 5th race we have Full Liquidity on top of the My nono and turn to travis for the triple.
